Christopher Carson: Wine Tasting

In the Summer of 2014 we were pleased to invite you to a Wine Event at the Caledonian Club.

We experienced new wines from Sicily from Mediterranean Domains and Estates accompanied by Italian nibbles from Speck!

Our speaker, Christopher Carson, CEO of Mediterranean Domains and Estates talked to us about the fascinating world of wine, from land to empty glasses, sniffing and spitting in between. Christopher is a famous wine connoisseur and well-known veteran in the wine trade. He was CEO of BRL Hardy Europe and Chairman of Constellation Europe. He chaired the Wine and Spirit Trade Association, a leading organisation representing all sectors of the wine and spirits industry. Chris was also consulting and acting MD for the Gruppo Italiano Vini, Italy’s largest premium wine producer.  Recently he was appointed CEO of Mediterranean Domains and Estates, a Sicilian wine producing company which produces a new organic range of red and white wines, promising to be the wind of change in the wine industry.
