As we all know, Le Gavroche opened in 1967 under the auspices of the legendary Roux brothers, Albert Roux OBE and Michel Roux OBE.
Known as “the last bastion in London of classically rich French haute cuisine. It was the first UK restaurant to be awarded three Michelin Stars, and a Lifetime Achievement Award for its Chef Patron, Michel Roux Jr.
Creating the most discerning dining and the catalysis for internationally renowned chefs in its kitchen. As chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Marco Pierre White, Marcus Wareing, to name but a few have all earned their stripes in the Le Gavroche kitchen before going on to make their own contributions to the world’s food capital.
