The fantastic Glyndebourne Festival returns this year with its inevitable style this summer with a big, brave new season of opera, featuring an ambitious four new productions.

They are currently performing is a sumptuous new staging of Handel’s Alcina, as well as Glyndebourne’s first new production of Puccini’s La boheme in twenty years and Michael Grandage’s five-star production of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.

Coming up later in the summer is Mariame Clément’s much-loved production of Donizetti’s comic masterpiece Don Pasquale and a wildly contrasting double bill of Poulenc operas offering both intimate tragedy and giddy, surreal comedy.

For all of us looking to attend, this wonderful Festival runs until 28 August. Please do check out the wonderful images and ticket availability at: www.glyndebourne.com
