We have been invited to sample the English Whisky story and some of its finest Whiskeys.
Started as a boutique cottage industry by Whisky lovers for Whisky loved, amazingly a UK Whisky has gone on to win the “World’s Best Single Malt” in 2022. (The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Reserve No. 4 – image above)
We will be joining Richard Foster, Founder & Chief Explorer of “Exploring English Whisky” for an informal tasting of some of the most delicious and fascinating English Whiskies on the market right now.
What better way to do this than by sharing some amazing dram’s to showcase the breadth & depth of this rapidly expanding, award-winning and ever-fascinating whisky scene.
We will be trying a selection of stunning UK Whisky to include:
Ludlow Distillery – Distiller’s Cut Oloroso Sherry Cask
Adnams Distiller’s Choice – “Britten as a Boy” 7yo Single Malt (French Oak & Burgundy barrel finish)
The Oxford Artisan Distillery – Heritage Grains 2017, Rye Whisky
We would love to see you after work on Wednesday the 12th July from 6pm to start this informal tasting at 6.30pm at the Black Book Bar in Soho at 23 Frith Street.
